2014 Trek Verve 3

Trek's Verve 3 is a super-plush ride no matter where you choose to roam thanks to an easy-pedaling aluminum frame and a suspension fork that smooths any road or path. Sublime comfort comes in the form of a relaxed, easy-on-the-back riding position and adjustable stem with wide handlebars. Plus, you'll love the cushy Bontrager seat and suspension seatpost that makes the bumps disappear. In addition to being comfortable, the 24 gears provide easy pedaling and climbing, too. If you forgot how much fun riding is, one ride on the Verve, and you'll never forget.

        Comments:

After 20+ years not riding, I decided to get back into bicycling. The salesperson suggested this model and offered me a test ride. After adjusting the bike to me, I took about a 10 min test ride and knew I had to have this bike. Rides and shifts smooth. Price was good. I am happy with my purchase. Looking forward to any long rides.

        Comments:

Really great for what I do. Bike trails, city riding. I go about 25 miles on mine pretty often. Not a super fast bike in comparison to a bike like the FX, but a very versatile durable bike to last a lifetime. Really no complaints. It's a bit heavy because of the front fork, but it's a very comfortable ride for sure. I can go about 22mph on flat ground which isn't too bad for a comfort hybrid. Got it up to 34mph going down a bridge. It climbs like a champ due to the lower gears. It eats up hills

              Comments:

I use this product to get some exercise. I have never had a 24 speed bicycle and that has been the biggest obstacle to learn. While I feel this bicycle is a step up from my last one, I still am unsure jsut how much better it is. Also, I still am working on the right position of the seat and handlebars.

I love this bike. Its very comfortable. However, I do miss my toe clips from my old Fuji but you can't beat it for comfort. I purchased it in Flourtown,Pa and would recommend it for anyone who wants to ride for fun. Its not the fastest bike around but its great for traveling around the city.

I'm an older guy that needed a bike that was comfortable but, had some performance to it, one where I could cruise on the bike path or put in 15-20 miles on the road. The Verve 3 fit the bill nicely. I have a rack with some panniers to hit the store of if I'm heading to the beach which works nicely on the Verve 3. I'm quite happy with the build quality and design of the bike.
